THE RAINBOW COLLECTION

The Rainbow Collection began in 1980 when a love of fabric and design joined forces with a commitment to be a stay-at-home mom. After graduating from Sullins College and Ohio University with degrees in Interior Design, Nancy Rollman worked as a fabric designer. She moved to the Shenandoah Valley when her husband accepted a job as a professor at James Madison University. The reason to be a stay-at-home mom graduated from college a few years ago but the love of what she does continues.

VICTORIAN PINCUSHIONS AND HANKERCHIEF PILLOWS

These exquisite hand-worked “Victorian” pincushions are created by Judy Wildman, a talented Shenandoah Valley craft person. Using uncovered, re-discovered or orphaned vintage china, Judy transforms each object into a beautiful one-of-a-kind creation – a lovely addition to any vanity, dresser, curio or sewing room. Judy’s Handkerchief Pillows are equally unique. If you’ve ever passed by and admired the wide variety of vintage linens and ladies handkerchiefs you’ll understand their appeal. Judy sees them as pretty accents for the home. Every pillow started its life as a vintage doily or handkerchief – but life wasn’t always easy. To save and restore them, each is reborn with special care into a sweet pillow. As colorful and different as a bouquet, they add excitement and romance to any home – and they make wonderful, thoughtful gifts for a special someone.
