Our Story

The charming store that is The Edinburg Village Shop first opened it’s door to customers in 1989. From the beginning The Shop attracted a loyal following of discerning customers who valued the good taste evidenced in the variety and selection of beautiful handmade things. In 2002 the owners sold the shop, and the new owners vowed to continue to offer customers a quality shopping experience. For us, that means a careful selection of quality crafts, artifacts, folk art and antiques, with a special focus on items from the Shenandoah Valley and the Appalachian region. Quality means items with aesthetic integrity that retain or increase their value with time. Quality also extends to the way customers are received and treated.
